Unity is a family.  We find our identity in Christ and He calls us heirs and we relate to one another as brothers and sisters.  That means we are of one heart and one purpose: to love God above and to love others.  We seek to work together as family but also are eager to welcome others as family.

Unity is community.  God has made us unique – each person specifically gifted and called to make a difference in the world.  The local church seeks to build community by tapping each person’s gift to love and serve one another and beyond.  We aren’t perfect nor pretend to be perfect.  But because of Christ’s love, we seek to be one as a community.

Unity is on a mission.  That life-giving mission is to bring Kingdom transformation wherever God calls us to serve.  Some days our gatherings are focused on nurturing and equipping.  Other days, we are mobilizing and sending.  We are committed to seeing God’s Kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

We are a worshipping community of        Christ-followers.  We grow in wisdom and understanding through God's Word and by spurring one another on towards love and good deeds.  Led by the Holy Spirit, we seek to bring life-transformation wherever we are called to serve.

This is Unity and this is who we are.

We are a body of Spirit-filled believers.

We are rooted in God's Word.

We are growing in God's Grace.

We are committed to reaching others for Jesus Christ.

This is Unity and this is who we are.

We are a gathering community who cherish fellowship, connecting, and caring with and for one another.

We are a worshipping community, committed to the exaltation of Jesus Christ, the clear teaching of His Word, intercessory prayer for one another, and walking in the power of the Holy Spirit.

We are a sending church, seeking to bring life-giving good news to our communities and around the world.  We partner extensively to make a significant impact for the cause of Christ wherever we are called to live and serve.

This is Unity and this is who we are.

  1. Unity Church gathers for worship each week in the community of Prinsburg, Minnesota, a town of 500 people in rural western Minnesota.
  2. Founded in 1984, this small worshipping community called themselves "Unity" and worked together to chart a new course of ministry in our area.
  3. Since its inception, Unity has engaged in 3 different building projects, and has grown from our first gathering of 140 people, to just over 300 today.
  4. Unity has had a global impact in its short history, equipping and empowering missional work in Haiti, Nigeria, Turkey, Gambia, and with the indigenous peoples of northern Wisconsin, and locally amongst the Somlian refugees.  Other missional efforts include the local college campus, Youth for Christ, jail ministry in the St. Cloud penitentiary, and through missional outreachs in New Orleans, Los Angeles, Chicago, Minneapolis, and New York City.
